Goblin Network Launches First Co-Op Ad Campaign Of 2.5 Million Ads

There is big news at Goblin Network today as we launch our first co-op advertising campaign on 300 websites with 2.5 million display ads. We have a number of Goblin Network Promoters who are participating in this unique advertising campaign and receiving 100,000 display ads linking to their Promoter websites. They were able to purchase 100,000 ads for just $199!

What are some of the sites where these display ads will be appearing?

Some of the sites in this advertising network include popular high traffic websites like Monster, the American Hockey League, Tickle, Friendster, The World Wide Gourmet, AccuWeather and hundreds of others.

How long will this campaign be running?

This first campaign is deploying on November 25th, 2008 and will run through December 24th, 2008.

Will I be able to check my advertising stats?

Absolutely. You can log into your Goblin Network Admin area as a Publisher or Promoter and click the View Ad Stats tab to check your advertising statistics. This first campaign is only open to Promoters of Goblin Network, but future campaigns will be deployed based on interest and demand from our Publishers and Promoters. If you are a participant, you can login to your account and check your ad stats anytime during the advertising campaign to see how many impressions you’ve received and even track the number of clicks.

When is the next co-op advertising campaign and how can I participate?

When you join Goblin Network as a Publisher or a Promoter we send out periodic emails and publish articles like this one telling you What’s New at our Interactive Magazine™. If you decide to purchase an ad campaign when you first join we will notify you when the campaign will be launched based on participation of our users. If we do not have enough participants to launch a large enough campaign we will refund your money, so you can’t lose and the cost-per-impression is always going to be a tremendous value. If we have enough interest, we plan to deploy another campaign in December and make it available for our Publishers and Promoters.

Will the campaigns always be $199 for 100,000 display ads?

It depends on which ad networks we select and what kind of pricing we can negotiate based on market availability, launch dates, targeting and other factors. For example, we may want to launch our next campaign on another network we have been in discussions with that has 7,500 websites. That campaign will probably cost $300 for 100,000 display ads ($3 cpm) or if there is enough interest in this larger network we may be able to break the campaign down into even smaller quantities such as 30,000 or 50,000 display ads, allowing for more participants by bringing the cost down.

Why is $199 for 100,000 ads considered a good deal?

If you tried to purchase this first campaign on this ad network on your own, you would have to write a check for $2,500 – $5,000 to get close to our CPM (cost per thousand impressions) rate of $1.99 per thousand. This network won’t accept orders for less than $2,500 and you had better be very good at negotiating. You would also need to convince the ad network that you won’t be placing only one order this year because they have larger online advertisers wanting the ad space, especially this time of year. To be able to purchase 100,000 display ads on a high volume advertising network of 300 websites for only $199 is a tremendous value.

Do I have to use Goblin Network ads for the co-op ad campaigns?

Yes. Goblin Network’s exclusive co-op advertising campaigns are designed for our Publishers and Promoters to drive visitors to their Goblin Network websites and the Interactive Magazine. For this initial campaign we only opened it up to our Promoters, so that we can start spreading the word about the Goblin Network Interactive Magazine™ and our amazing $15 display advertising product for 15 ads. By next month, our Publishers will be able to purchase campaigns that drive visitors directly into their articles to read what they have published and see their ads.

Why would a company want to use Goblin Network ads instead of their own ads?

Like everything about Goblin Network, our co-op ads are a unique product built around a solid brand and the Goblin Network Interactive Magazine™. A large company can already buy their own ads on advertising networks or large websites and pay to have traffic sent directly to their website, so there is nothing unique about that product. We expect larger companies are going to want to take advantage of the Goblin Network Interactive Magazine™ to obtain additional exposure for their marketing messages and drive new visitors to read their articles at Goblin Network, where visitors will see their additional three ads. When a visitor clicks on their Goblin Network ad, it’s really like getting four ads for the price of one!

We also anticipate that as larger companies become Publishers with Goblin Network that they will want to purchase larger co-op ad campaigns to take advantage of Goblin Network’s unique selling proposition. This will allow smaller Publishers and Promoters to participate in co-op ad campaigns more often based on volume purchases throughout our network of users. Everyone wins!
