The Affiliate Summit Update

I’ve been out here in Las Vegas at The Affiliate Summit establishing relationships with new Affiliate Networks for you to take advantage of as a Publisher with Goblin Network and meeting people who are taking advantage of the $13 billion a year Affiliate Marketing industry.

It has been quite an experience since there are so many companies and Affiliate Networks representing companies who are ready to pay affiliates for advertising their company’s products and services.  In this economy, with millions of people looking for a way to earn additional income, Affiliate Marketing is the easiest and most cost-effective way to build a second income stream without having to put out a great deal of money to start a business.

As The Cool Car Guy, I have people contact me all the time to help them get approved on an auto loan or get out from under a vehicle that they are buried in, and if they just had an additional $250 – $500 a month from another income stream such as Affiliate Marketing with Goblin Network they would be in a much better financial position.

Last night, I attended a Hospitality Party hosted by Shawn Collins of Feedfront Magazine.  Shawn is one of the people who put on The Affiliate Summit and I had an opportunity to talk with him about what people are doing in the Affiliate Marketing space to be successful.  Shawn’s website is FeedFront.com and he has had tremendous success in Affiliate Marketing.  When they did their first Affiliate Summit back in 2003 they had 200 participants and now there are 3,000 people attending this one, along with some big name companies.

Shawn introduced me to a woman named Tricia Meyer who owns SunshineRewards.com.   Tricia is an attorney turned Affiliate Marketer with her website and she has a video blog where she discusses ways to save money and get freebies, along with other things.  She told me how one of her clients paid for 90% of her Christmas expenses using her site and that she has 11,000 subscribers to SunshineRewards.com.

Here is the real kicker though, she said that she read the Twilight books and is a big fan of the series, so when the movie came out she went and bought BuyTwilightStuff.com and joined Affiliate Programs selling Twilight related stuff and put their ads on her new site.  She earned $5,000 her first month on that site and it’s still going strong!  That’s right, she earned $5,000 selling other people’s stuff and just getting people to come to that website.  How cool is that?  By the way, she is a Stay At Home Mom and on her third Honda Odyssey.

One more person I have to tell you about is Jim Kukral, of TheBizWebCoach.com who I met from Cleveland Ohio.  He’s the MC for the Affiliate Summit and a very interesting guy.  I told him about Goblin Network and he’s been doing Affiliate Marketing since 2003 and attended the first Affiliate Summit with Shawn Collins and Missy Ward.  He thought the concept of Goblin Network was very cool and obviously we need a ton of people to join this to make it a profitable venture, but we’re offering people a huge bang for the buck giving them 30 ads in the Goblin Network Interactive Magazine for just $15 a month!  Of course, would you expect any less from The Cool Car Guy who saves people money on their cool cars everyday?

I told Jim that I had to post information about his coaching service on Goblin Network today because many of the people joining Goblin Network are new to Affiliate Marketing.  One of our Publishers told me she was interviewing for a success coach before I left for The Affiliate Summit, so she may want to contact Jim about what he’s offering.  He told me that he is launching a new service to do group coaching for people for just $27 a month and his clients are learning from his years of experience fast without having to go through the school of hard knocks on their own.
