Openly show your pride for being part of an industry that has the power to allow people from any race, religion, gender, education level or economic status to get started with a small monetary investment and write their own “Declaration of Independence.” At a time when our unemployment rates are increasing everyday and hundreds, even thousands of people are not sure how they are going to be able to provide for their families… you can take solace in the fact that you are part of the solution and that you have the power to help willing people to change their fate and create a “Better Life” for themselves and their families by being a positive role model with your own network marketing business.
Here are some interesting facts about history that I wanted to share with everyone as we celebrate this weekend with our families and friends.
The Time Line of Democracy – How long do we have?
About the time our original 13 states adopted their new constitution, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: “A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.”
“The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. From bondage to spiritual faith
2. From spiritual faith to great courage
3. From courage to liberty
4. From liberty to abundance
5. From abundance to complacency
6. From complacency to apathy
7. From apathy to dependence
8. From dependence back into bondage.”

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:
Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the tax-paying citizens of this great country. Gore’s territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements living off government welfare.”
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the “complacency & apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some 40 percent of the nation’s population already having reached the “governmental dependency” phase.
I bring this up because we all need to be reminded form time ti time why we have a military and why we need to be very thankful for the young men and women of our armed forces that voluntarily serve in our armed forces to provide us with the lifestyle that every American has come to enjoy.
Some years ago I remember reading the following passage and committing it to memory.
War is an ugly thing—yet not the ugliest of things.
Uglier still is that degraded state of man’s moral turpitude that believes that nothing is worth fighting for. Shamefully, these same people that believe this passive philosophy to be true—Are the very same people that are made and kept FREE—Only as a result of the efforts of better Men & Women than themselves.
God Bless Our American Fighting Men & Women For It Is These Brave Soles That Defend & Keep Our Great Nation FREE!
If you can read this—Thank a “Teacher.”
If you’re reading it in English—Thank a “Veteran.”
Freedom is never FREE—It has been paid for in advance for centuries with the blood of our ancestors.
Maybe that’s why so many people take it for granted!!!
I also write this to remind Everyone that there is No Free Lunch… It’s up to the person in the mirror to Declare Their Own Independence and Take Care of Their Own Family.
Furthermore, I feel very blessed to be a part of this Great Industry and have the ability to help willing people to… Make Their Dreams Come True with the Network Marketing Industry.
Please feel free to pass this along freely… all I ask is that you Do Not Change It and that you link it back to this blog entry.
Have a Safe and Happy Independence Day Weekend… This 4th of July, 2009
Warm Regards and God Bless,
