You Might be a youth leader if…

If you’ve ever uttered the phrase, “Take the Hackey Sack out of the sanctuary you guys!”
If you’ve done more than two lock-ins in two months…
If your two-year-old stops calling you “daddy” in order to get your attention and says “Pastor, pastor.”
If you’ve ever asked yourself the question…”I wonder if paintballs are edible?”
If you’ve ever read straight through the Guiness book to figure out a way to beat a new attendance record.
If your 3 square meals a day consist of Mountain Dew, Starbucks, Cold pizza, Taco Bell lunch with Students, Cold Speghetti and a Red Bull just before Youth Group…Then a 2 a.m. Hang out at Village Inn/Denny’s….
If your next retreat name ends with “blast”, “rock,” or “FEST” you know you’ve found a good name.
If the distance between your car and the church gets smaller and smaller based on how much stuff you have to unload for youth ministry every week (I heard you could park your car just outside your office window so that you could load up: your bible, guitar, stuff for chubby-bunny, your laptop, video projector, cables and a spare intern ALL in only ONE TRIP!)
If you’ve ever had a parent meeting over duct-taping a kid to the church bus…
If you keep saying to yourself…Man, I’m getting to old for this…
