Even in a bad economy, items that are considered essential still sell. Examples include food, clothes and rental housing. These are the things that are needed for sustenance, though there are other ‘luxury’ products that, (while not essential for sustenance), still make life worth living. Coffee is an example.
As winter moves slowly along, many people find that their business lags as well. For some, the endless days of gloom affect their ability to get motivated. Some are still trying to recover from the frantic pace of the holidays. Sometimes it is just difficult to get motivated to do much of anything.
Being late is like stealing from someone. Lost time is something that can never be regained or repaid.

All work requires some discipline. You have to show up, do something (or look like you are doing something) for some specified length of time. Most jobs require that you do this at least five days a week for eight hours day. If you don’t do these things, you won’t have to worry too much because you will be asked to leave.
